Born to Bake and Create

Growing up in Germany, Günther knew from an early age that his career would take a culinary path. Not only did he indulge in cakes and pastries as a child, but he spent most of his free time in the kitchen, baking for his family. One of his earliest jobs was delivering bread on his bike.

Günther is a creative and passionate pastry chef with experience and education in a broad range of specialty baking. While attending a prestigious culinary school in Germany’s Black Forest, Günther learned the importance of being a detail oriented professional with a flair for creating custom designs.

While working as the pastry chef at the Ritz Carlton, Günther was a very strict and demanding chef. He made sure things got done right the first time. Dedication to product and the ability to exceed customer expectations is what he strives for in each of his cakes. With over 40 years experience, Günther’s commitment to doing things right is evident in every Konditor Meister cake.

Konditor Meister started as a small bakery in Quincy, Massachusetts over twenty years ago and the business has been soaring ever since. Today Konditor Meister has twenty-five employees and a huge facility in Braintree, Massachusetts.
